• Please note we do not refund booking fees in the event of a cancellation

• You can also pay cash in an envelope through the letter box. Or by BACS, please write your name, your horse and which class you want to do on a piece of paper and deliver before the closing date. Do not send cash through the post.
• Please try to keep off the crops when competing or walking the course

• Unfortunately, we cannot offer any advice regarding how the course is flagged, you must walk the course yourself to ensure you know where you are going
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
• By attending / entering this event you are agreeing to these rules it is your responsibility to be aware of them therefore you are advised to read them carefully
• No refunds will be made in the event of failure to comply with the conditions of entry
• All entries include 20% vat. Vat registration No 297 5916 94
• £5 from every entry goes to First Aid Cover. £1 to Great North Air Ambulance, £1 Seaton Sluice Defibrillator Group
• The rules of the competition and any changes will be displayed in the caravan from the day before the competition and the Web site www.gloucesterlodgefarm.co.uk
• All horses must be of four years and over and must be accompanied by their passport to this event
• Riders must wear correctly fitted hat that conforms current BE safety standards, at all times when mounted.
• Body protectors must be worn when jumping cross country
• Everyone attending this event must be respectful to each other. Use of inappropriate language, intimidation or unsporting behavior by a competitor or representative may result in a competitor being eliminated.
• The organizers accept no liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, persons, property or spectators.
• Vehicles and trailers are parked at the owner’s risk and the driver must adhere to the car park attendants’ instructions
• Well Behaved Dogs are welcome, but must be well under control and on short leads at all times, any dog mess must be picked up and put in a BIN. No extendable leads please.
• Any complaint must be lodged in writing with a deposit of £30 (returnable if upheld) within 30 minutes of the results going up. The decision of the chief steward will be final.
• It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their horse is fit enough to compete however the organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to any horse, pony or rider they feel is not fit enough to compete
• Horses and ponies should not be left unattended at any time. Please do not muck out onto the field.
• Take your rubbish home or put it into the bins provided. It looks unsightly and can scare the horses.
• The organizers intend to run the event on time. Competitors should report to the start at least 5 minutes before they are due to start. Late arrivals will be eliminated unless they can be fitted in without disrupting the organization of the event
• Over use of whips and spurs will not be tolerated and will lead to elimination
• The organizers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure that the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey instructions of the stewards, jump judges and car park attendants.
• Official Photographs will be taken at this event and published on the internet for purchase. By entering this event you give permission this includes under 18’s.
• This event runs on optimum time. Timing clocks are not permitted. Anyone seen wearing a timing device capable of being stopped or started will be eliminated.
• Anyone seen to be helping or giving outside assistance to a competitor will result in the competitor’s elimination
• No rider video or recording devices allowed
• First aid provided by Rapid Reaction LTD
• COMPETITORS CAN WALK THE COURSE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT IN GROUPS OF NO MORE THAN TWO and must not impede competitors or jump judges on the course. Well behaved dogs on Short Leads only

Please note:
Please bring your own bib and NUMBER. A small number bibs will be available to hire and there will be a limited number to buy. If you enter on the day we will provide a number, please ensure you bring your own bib
The course will be available to walk from a day specified on the website and social media and at least 2 days before the event
Starting times will be available on the day before the event between noon and 6.00pm, at the start or by telephone 07751 156720 or on the website two days before the event www.gloucesterlodgefarm.co.uk
There will be no results on the day, they will be published the day after and rosettes sent out or available to pick up.

Directions
Gloucester Lodge is on the A193, which is the coast road between Blyth and
Seaton Sluice. The car park is approx 200 meters south of the farm on the
west side of the road and will be well sign posted.
THERE WILL BE A NO RIGHT TURN TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN IN OPERATION. Drivers are advised to approach from Seaton Delaval – Seaton Sluice – direction to the course.
