ENTRIES

A combination of Horse and Rider can only compete in one class.

Entries open on Friday 30th June and close on Monday 1st August 2023

As this an Area Competition, you must have been selected by your DC to enter.

Entries should be made by your DC or Team Manager.

Please note that when booking a team please enter as individuals and tick the box that you are part of a team and enter your team members and team name in the box

NUMBERS

Riders must bring their own bibs.

No printed numbers will be provided by the organisers.
Number print templates will be available at www.ponyclubresults.co.uk

We would prefer you NOT to wear bridle numbers as they are not easy to read from a distance. 

SUBSTITUTIONS

After the closing date: Substitutions may only be made as per Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2023

For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the times have been published there is a £5 charge, please contact Kristal Bowdler office@racsaddleclub.co.uk 

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

If a Branch or Centre withdraws a Team or Individual prior to the entry closing date, a full refund of entry will be made less an administration charge.

Withdrawals after the closing date for a competition will not be refunded except on production of a vet certificate or medical certificate.
Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an administration fee of £5.

In the event of the competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry will be given.

PRIZES, QUALIFIERS AND PRIZE GIVING

Individual Rosettes 1st – 10th Team Rosettes 1st – 6th
Prize giving times will be announced on the day.

All prize winners must be correctly dressed in their competition clothes.

Numbers to Qualify for Regional Championships at Bicton Arena 26th – 27th August 2023

Top 6 teams. Top 16 individuals not in one of the qualifying teams.

Results and confirmation of qualifications will be posted on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk. 

ELIGIBILITY

Please ensure all members comply with 2023 eligibility as per the Show Jumping Rulebook.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

To be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2023

Please obey parking stewards at all times. PC Teams will be parked together

Please pick up all droppings hay and litter from around your lorry/trailer and take it home.
Hats must be tagged with a PINK tag and body protectors must be BETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label) or BETA 2018 Level 8 standard (blue and black label).

Competitors must present themselves to the steward for tack inspection 30-minutes before their allocated jumping time. Please ensure you comply with Saddlery and Equipment in the Show Jumping Rulebook 2023.

Working in for all classes, must be by competitor with a class entry on that pony.

The Judges’ decision is final. In the event of a dispute or objection arising only the District Commissioners or their appointed representatives are entitled to lodge protests or objections and will be managed as per Rule 41 Protests or Objections in the Show Jumping Rulebook 2023 and will include the requirement of a deposit of £50.

A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. It is the DC’s responsibility to ensure that all team members vaccination records are in line with The Pony Club Equine Influenza Vaccination Rule 2023.

Photographic Rights – unless stated competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

LEGAL LIABILITY

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
