IMPORTANT NOTES
•	PLEASE NOTE – ‘not before’ times have been added to most sections, please note classes may start considerably later than this depending on numbers.
•	All Champions (and Reserves at the judges request) from each section should come forward to the overall Supreme Championship with the EXCEPTION of BTO, Novelties, Riding club, WHP, WHH & dogs.  Trophies to be collected from the secretary’s tent.

HORSE AND COUNTRY RACEHORSE QUALIFIERS 
The Horse & Country Racehorses (HCR) series is open to Thoroughbreds who have raced, trained or been bred to race.  Racing injuries will be ignored providing the horse is sound.  Riders must be 14 years plus, ridden horses must be 4 years plus and veterans are 12 years plus.  Judges will not ride and you will not be asked to gallop as a ride but maybe asked to gallop in your individual show. To qualify for the championships at the Grand Slam at Ingliston on Sept 2017, the handler/rider and horse must be registered with HCR, you must carry your cards in the ring for signing and be placed 1st-4th (qualifications may be passed down to 6th place).  Non-members must send their qualification cards (presented by the judge), fees and register with HCR no later than 14 days after this show and before the closing date for entries for the Grand Slam.

Each VHS affiliation in Scotland now holds a PRE-QUAL Supreme Final qualification
There is no 2nd round each show has the same status.
Open to members and non-members. However, only Members may go forward to the Championship of the day.   
VHS Scottish Supreme (Pre-Judging) Final qualification. ONLY MEMBERS placed 1st to 2nd in each age category will go to the Veteran Championship of the Day.  In all classes - if competitors placed1st or 2nd are not Members qualification will be given to 3rd & 4th providing they are Members. Qualification will not go lower than 4th place.
All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS Rules in all circumstances.  Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification.  
Champions and Reserve Both In-hand and Ridden must have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification.  This will qualify through the pre-judging of the Supreme.  Entry to the Pre-qual Championships is to be made online via the VHS website.  Stabling only to be booked directly with the venue.  Ingliston Equestrian Centre.
Young Rider Championship qualification.  A Young Rider rosette and qualification will be awarded to the young rider of the Judge’s choice, entitling them to enter the Young Rider Championship Prior to the Supreme Final This award is given at the Judge’s discretion. Non Members to receive an orange card.











Blair Castle Working Hunter Pony Series/ Stewarts Building Services
Blair Castle Working Hunter Pony Series: Ponies placed first to fourth in the qualifying classes will qualify for the Championships held at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials & Country Fair on Thursday 24th August 2016. Qualification may go down to sixth place if higher placed ponies have previously qualified

TSR Scottish Rider Championships 
This show is a qualifier for the 2016 TSR Scottish regional finals to be held on 23rd & 24th September at Grand Slam Show, Ingliston EC, Bishopton.  You do not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter the final.  The rider/handler qualifiers can enter any horse/pony in any number of finals. TSR Riders Final – 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.  TSR INHAND FINALS – the 2 highest placed handlers with a TSR Inhand card will qualify in any inhand class.  Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website.   Full details at www.theshowingregister.co.uk 

Clemmie / BHS Scotland Riding Club Style Jumping Series
Horses must be 4 years old or over.  No height restrictions. Horses must not have won more than £175 BS or have more than 10 BE points. Riders must be 18 years old or older on 1 January 2017 and must not have competed in any FEI competition or be an FBHS or have taken their BHSII exams in the last 10 years. To compete at the final, the rider of the horse must be a member of a riding club affiliated to BRC.
Willberry North of Scotland Championship Show
All top 1st to 6th placing in the qualifying classes will qualify. Willberry North Of Scotland Championship Show will be held on the 19th and 20th August 2017 at The Black Isle Show Ground, Mannsfield Showground, Muir of Ord, Ross Shire, IV6 7RS.
