Our annual Spring Hunter Trial,  with a mix of fences from 60 cm up to 110 cm there is something for everyone, from clear round, to pairs, to individual.

Please make sure that you purchase your rider MEDICAL COVER, as an individual you only need to pay this once for however many classes that you enter. If you are adding a single entrant for a pairs class that will not be entering any other classes, you must add the SECOND RIDER medical cover. If these are not paid at the time of entry you will need to pay this on the day.

Number deposits. We charge a £5 returnable deposit on our number bibs (these are suitable for air jackets) this will be required to be paid on collection of numbers on the day.

For the second year running we are hosting Horsewear Ireland National Hunter Trial Series Qualifiers.
Class 5 Novice Horse/Pony 75cm, is the Qualifier for the Horsewear National Hunter Trial Series 70cm Finals. Class 7 Inter Horse/Pony 90cm, is the Qualifier for the Horsewear National Hunter Trial Series 90cm Finals.
Class 8 open Horse/Pony Max 110cm, is the Qualifier for the Horsewear National Hunter Trial Series 100cm Finals.

The main course is not timed so you can take your time and build confidences or you can "get on with it", there is a short timed section within the course,which is always optimum time (target time will be displayed in the secretaries tent).

If you are eliminated you are more than welcome to complete the course, but please be aware of other competitors who are coming up behind you, please give them the right of way, and move out of their way, giving them a clear run at the fence, then you can proceed with your round. Thank you.

The course is a mix of fixed and portable fences run on well draining sand based land, through trees and open grassy areas, a lovely venue that withstands the worst of weather.

On the the day there will be:
food and hot drinks at reasonable prices available all day.
Tack shop.
Toilets.

If you are not sure if you would like to do any extra classes after your intended/entered class, enter the one class online and then you can enter further classes on the day at no extra charge.

The Scunthorpe & District Branch of the Pony Club was formed in 1968.

We hold our main events each year, Spring show at Oakley Stables at Crowle, a Spring Hunter Trial, Summer One Day Event or jump cross and an Autumn Hunter Trial. All of which are held at Normanby Park near Scunthorpe; by Kind permission of Sir Reginald Sheffield. Bart.  Team show jumping in November at Horse World Market Rasen.
