Entries close on Wednesday 5th August at 18:00.
Times will be available from around 12 noon on Friday 6th August.

In the event of cancellation, we only refund the entry fee and not any third-party booking fee.
If the event is postponed, we will refund the entry fee only for a period of 2 days after the new date is confirmed and not any third-party booking fee.

There may be entries on the day if numbers allow, at an extra charge.
Entry fee includes membership to the Berwickshire Hunt for the day. 

Should a rider wish to withdraw from the competition prior to entries closing, 50% of the entry fee will be refunded to the rider (not including booking fee). Withdrawing after the entries close will result in no entry fee being returned to the rider. Changes of class after entries close will result in a £5 administration fee being charged.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By attending / entering this event you are agreeing to these rules.  It is your responsibility to be aware of them therefore you are advised to read them carefully.

No refunds will be made in the event of failure to comply with the conditions of entry. 

Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted.  They must conform to current British Eventing standards.
Body protectors are compulsory and must conform to current British Eventing standards.

Everyone entering and attending this event must be respectful to each other and our volunteers, either in person or on social media.  Use of inappropriate language, intimidation or unsporting behaviour by a competitor or representative, in person, in writing or on social media could result in elimination or their entry refused.

The organisers accept no liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, property, or spectators.  

Vehicles and trailers are parked at the owner’s risk and the driver must adhere to the car park attendants’ instructions.

STRICTLY NO DOGS are to be brought to this event - this includes in vehicles, and when walking the course. This is part of our agreement with the landowners and there are no exceptions.

Any complaint must be lodged in writing with a deposit of £30 (returnable if upheld) within 30 minutes of the results going up.  The decision of the scorers will be final.

Horses and ponies should not be left unattended at any time.  Please do not muck out onto the field or lorry park.

The organisers intend to run the event on time. Competitors should report to the start at least 5 minutes before their published time. Late arrivals will be eliminated unless they can be fitted in without disrupting the organization of the event.

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey instructions of the stewards, jump judges and car park attendants. 

If you use your whip excessively, stewards and jump judges may ask you to retire from the course, and the vet on the course will examine your horse. Failure to comply may result in you being banned from future events.

You may present at a fence a maximum of 3 times, after which you will be asked to move on. You must give way to any horses which are coming up behind, should your horse refuse. 

Photographs may be taken at this event and published on the internet for purchase. By entering this event you give permission for under 18’s to be photographed.

For the safety of the rider, no rider will be allowed to wear videoing or recording devices.
 
PLEASE REMEMBER ALL OF THE PEOPLE HELPING AT THIS EVENT ARE VOLUNTEERS GIVING UP THEIR FREE TIME. THEY ALL, WITHOUT EXCEPTION WANT YOU TO DO WELL AND HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE DAY.  PLEASE TREAT THEM WITH RESPECT.
