The Horsemanship clinic is with Nell Candelaria who has studied horse behaviour extensively and offers a unique blend of traditional knowledge and practical horsemanship. She is a BHS Stage 3 Coach (BHS AI), holds a Diploma in Equine Psychology, and is a UKCC Level 2 Coach.

Each session will be an hour long with up to 3 members in a session. This can be on the ground or ridden, looking at rider/ horse confidence, biomechanics as well as how our understanding of equine behaviour effects performance and process. Not before 1pm.

As your membership renewal date is no longer necessarily at the beginning of the year please can you ensure that your membership is up to date as you will sadly not be covered by BRC insurance if it has lapsed!

Cancellations up to 7 days before an event will be eligible to receive a refund, less booking fees but unfortunately cancellations within the 7 days cannot be refunded. If for some reason we have to cancel then you will receive a full refund, including fees.  Transfers are generally not encouraged as they are an admin nightmare so please don’t be disappointed if we just offer a refund!

Advisory notice - filming & photography may take place during South Devon Riding Club events. 

This could be in the arenas, seating areas, trade stands, stabling and lorry park during events.

If you do not wish to appear in any images captured please inform the secretary so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included.

The photographs/film could potentially be included in South Devon Riding Club's publications and promotional materials and may also be published on the SDRC website. They could also be passed onto the sponsor of the event and the press.
