🌡️ Equine First Aid 🌡️

Knowing what to do in an equine emergency can save lives and buy precious time whilst waiting for the vet to arrive. This session aims to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to identify and manage common illness and injury.

✓ Know signs of good/ill health
✓ Know what to have in a well stocked first aid kit
✓ Basic bandaging/poulticing skills
✓ Know when to call the vet
✓ Recognise the symptoms; prevention and management of:
- Colic
- Laminitis
- Wounds (minor/major)
- Loose/lost shoes
- Disease and infections
- Hoof abscess 

Certificate of attendance for all participants
