Class 1 will include fences up to 30 cm.  This is a mixed class, pairs can be led or accompanied by someone on foot.  Unaccompanied riders will not be accepted as it creates an unfair class.  Unaccompanied riders should go into the 45 cm class.

Class 6 - Class 6 - Team of a max of 4 riders, or a minimum of 3 riders.  To ride an encouranging course up to 80cm, with 1/3 of the fences reaching maximum height. Horses must be over 5 years old and 14h2 or over. Riders must be a minimum of 16 years old. To encourge riders and horses we will time a section of the course based on a fastest time, we will not time the entire round - removing pressure at this entry level. Prize money to the winning team will be £100. Rosettes to 6th place. No stallions allowed, no dogs at all please.
Particular attention should be paid to Safety and protection, age of and horse welfare, abuse of
horses & exchanging horses. It is strongly recommended that all participants have Personal Accident
Insurance.
In your entry you need to add the following to the notes section: Team name, Riders names and ages - must be a minimum of 16, Horses names & heights. It is not a child's class - it is a feeder to team chasing where the rules are the same

Standard entry will close on the Wednesday before the competition at 2359 hours, late entry pricing will be in effect 24 hrs prior to final closing date. Times will be published on our EVENTS Facebook  page - Events at Rein and Shine by the Friday lunchtime before the event.

Start times will be allocated to all competitors. Some classes are Eland Lodge qualifiers.  To qualify in the relevant classes you have to place 1st - 3rd and gone clear.

There will be a timed section on the course for each class - this is only used if there is a tie on penalties.  Fastest time comes first

Anyone eliminated XC will have to leave the course at a walk allowing others to continue safely, it is at the judges discretion to allow a rider to carry on.  

Event Fees - £17 entry for the 30 cm class, £20 entry for the 45 cm class, £24 entry for all other individual classes.  Pairs classes cost £44.
All shows will be attended by a First Aider. First aid charges are to be added as an extra. 

Prize Information   
Rosettes 1st - 6th per class.  

Dress  
Cross country colours.
Body protectors and Skull caps are compulsory. Competitors must provide their own number bibs.  Without these competitors cannot compete. Horses cannot be ridden in hackamore bridles, arms must be covered past the elbow - If you are not dressed safely to protect flesh you will not be able to compete and you will forfeit your entry fee.

Course Walking: 
The courses will be available to walk from midday on the Friday before the competition. 

After entries have closed, cancelled entries cannot be transferred or refunded.
