We have hired Millie, the Equisimulator (and Emily) for the day to give SOVRC members the opportunity to spend time on a mechanical horse that will only react to the way you use your body.
There will be 16 x 30 minute sessions available, so it really is on a first come, first served basis.

Emily is trained to provide instruction through the Equisimulator to aid in the improvement of the rider's position, seat and communication with their equine partner! The Equisimulator is a human powered machine that simulates the movement of the horse. This is achieved via the rider's movements. If the rider does not move correctly the machine is designed not to work.
Today we often hear terms like "sit deep", "push with the saddle" and "ride your horse." But what does this mean exactly?
Do not forget your horse can ride without you, you need to be that beautiful passenger, the discrete influencer and the perfect partner.
A typical session can focus on Posture, walk, trot, canter, trot diagonals, feel, canter leads, turning, weight aids, straightness and much much more.
