Indoor Riding Arenas
The 60 X 40m indoor riding arena benefits from a silica sand with additive mix surface with generous sodium lighting. The school has access on two sides, and an automatic watering system for dust prevention – an excellent venue for hosting competitions.
The 20 X 40m indoor riding arena has communal viewing gallery ideal for hosting competitions together with full BS standard show jumps and indoor x country fences.
Outdoor Manège
The 50m x 40m sand floodlit outdoor manège has secure post and rail fencing. It can be used either as a warm up arena or as a stand-alone training facility.
Woodchip Gallops
The College boasts two wood-chip gallops. The oval, six furlong gallop lends itself well to endurance and stamina training, while the straight gallop is perfect for interval training. The straight gallop is on a gradient and is largely open, while the oval gallop is fully railed and benefits from furlong markers.
Grass Gallop
The grass gallop is situated inside the oval all-weather gallop. A set of 10 bay starting stalls and regulation hurdles and steeplechase fences are available adjacent to the grass gallop.
The area within the oval gallop extends to approximately 25 acres/10 hectares, lending itself particularly well to hosting shows, competitions and tournaments.
Schooling fences
In the centre of the oval gallops are the new EasyFix hurdles and fences which are available to hire for schooling.
Racehourse Simulators
Housed in the Victorian stable yard are two racehorse simulators. The room has mirror facilities and audio visual equipment on which to view previously recorded riding footage.
Parking Facilities
Adjacent to the indoor riding school is the car park and horsebox park with ample hard standing. Access to water is also available as are female and male toilets and washing facilities.
Catering Facilities
The cafeteria, with seating for 40, offers an assortment of menus from hot and cold snacks to three course dining, complete with alcoholic beverages.
Whether you wish to organise a competition, horse show, Pony Club rally or camp, clinic, or simply wish to train your horse in a private and peaceful environment, NRC would be pleased to discuss your requirements.
