Birtle Riding Centre is an established equestrian centre perfectly placed to serve riders and equestrian competitors not only locally, but also Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire. Birtle Riding Centre is situated off the B6222 between Rochdale and Bury. From M62 junction 20: 5 miles, and from M66 junction 2: 2 miles. Directions from M66: Take junction 2 and take the exit signposted A58 (for Bolton and Bury and Fairfield Hospital). Immediately move over to the right and take the right hand lane at the traffic lights (approx. 50 yards). Turn right onto Wash Lane (B6221). Continue to the traffic lights and turn right into Parsonage Street. Continue to the mini roundabout, turning right onto the B6222. Continue for 1.5 miles, past Fairfield Hospital on the right and past the Total petrol station on the left. Elbut Lane is the first left turn after the petrol station.
